Steve has been looking into Rob Bell and came across this YouTube video. It is worth your time to watch this. I don't know if any of you read his books or watch his video's, but I am convinced he is deceived in his view of scripture and not someone to be followed. 2 Timothy 4:3-4 "For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. We need to check what people are saying with the scriptures. If it doesn't line up, run the other direction.

Comparing what Rob Bell teaches to the Bible I would have to say he is a false teacher. Titus 1:10-16 "For there are many rebellious men, empty talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, who must be silenced because they are upsetting whole families, teaching things they should not teach for the sake of sordid gain. One of themselves, a prophet of their own, said, 'Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons.' This testimony is true. For this reason reprove them severely so that they may be sound in their faith, not paying attention to Jewish myths and commandments of men who turn away from the truth. To the pure, all thing are pure; but to those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their mind and their conscience are defiled. They profess to know God, but by their deeds they deny Him, being detestable and disobedient and worthless for any good." Turn the other direction and run from Rob Bell.
