Keith had his first game today. They won by 2 points. (I mean runs) He did awesome! I was a proud Mom. He pitched and did really well at it. Striking out a lot of kids, although he did hit a girl pretty hard. As Steve said "He put some mustard on that ball!" Keith is convinced she was trying to get hit.
He also did really well hitting. Last year he struggled hitting and every time he was up today he hit and made it to the base. Except once he was walked. We all froze watching the game it was in the 40's but the sun was out and it wasn't super windy. It was supposed to rain and snow and none of that happened. So I shouldn't complain.
Next game is Wed. So we'll see how he does then. For all you Grandparents & Aunties, I'll update you after each game. He's made a pretty good friend on the team. Kelly's teachers son Cameron is on the team. He and Keith have become instant friends, so that's pretty fun. This should be a really good season for him.
